Mix one part Pimm's No.1 with three parts chilled lemonade. Then add some mint, cucumber, orange and strawberries - and enjoy. Made since the year 1840, from a closely guarded, secret recipe.

Absolut Raspberri is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike some other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s rich and intense with the fresh and fruity character of ripened raspberries. The main ingredients in Absolut Raspberri are Absolut Vodka and raspberry flavor. Absolut Vodka is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it’s protected from impurities. The winter wheat is also grown in Åhus and differs from other crops: it’s sown one fall, and harvested the next one. Days in between it grows under the Swedish snow developing its hard grain. Also, the use of fertilizers is minimized. The raspberries are as natural as the rest of the ingredients

Instead of the usual three or four times, Absolut vodka is distilled an infinite number of times. Absolut Citron is made in the same way, just with a lemon twist. Chivas Regal is a world-famous Scotch blend which was first made in the early 20th century by Chivas Brothers. The company can trace its roots back to 1801, with the opening of a grocers at Number 13 King Street, Aberdeen. Selling luxury food, coffee and spices, it wasn't until half a century later that the company started to make whisky, and then not until post-US Prohibition that Chivas Regal 12 Year Old was first officially released. F. Paul Pacult described Chivas Regal 12 as "the blend for grown-ups", awarding it an impressive 9 out of 10. It's a very apt statement - this is a very refined blended whisky, with herbs, honey and fruit leaping forth on the palate. Regularly lauded by the critics, this is a superb blend in its price category, representing great value for money. First launched in 2001, Hendrick’s Gin has been the success story that has set the template for modern gin brands to follow. Hendrick’s Gin was launched by William Grant & Sons at a time when gin wasn’t the diverse, thriving category it is today. A clear callback to gin’s forbears, the apothecary style bottle suggests comparison to Genevers and a time when gin was a medicine. The nose certainly has juniper, but I find the musky hint of rose lightens it and gives it a floral forward impression. Sweet orange, lime zest and a hint of elderflower as well. The pine notes give it structure, but the floral notes give it a unique character.
Country / Region: Scotland / Lowlands
Nose: Herbaceous at first glance, it is refined with aromas of citrus, floral and cucumber

The Pusser's Rum collection has had a bit of a revamp. While their Blue Label is still made with the exact same blend of rums - a recipe from the Admiralty - it is now bottled at 40% abv rather that 54.5% abv. The reasoning behind this, is it allows Pusser's to be distributed to Naval bases, where the maximum allowed strength is 40%. If you're looking for the original 54.5% version, then fear not! It has now been rebranded as Pusser's 'Gunpowder Proof' Black Label.

Brighton gin is an incredibly smooth, juniper and citrus led gin made in miniscule batches by gin lovers Kathy and Helen. Their distillery is situated in a little pub just outside the centre of Brighton and everything about the product is lovingly crafted by hand from the individual waxing of the bottles to the elegantly simple mixture of botanicals. Even the colour scheme was carefully chosen to mimic that of the iconic railings on Brighton sea front. Smooth and refreshing this gin slides down easily when drunk neat thanks to the milk thistle in the botanicals (which incidentally is also very good for your liver). It's refreshing, clean and the hints of zesty coriander pop through the juniper.

Daffy's Small Batch Premium Gin is made with grain spirit from northern France, which is then distilled using a copper pot still. The Scottish distillers use a selection of eight botanicals for Daffy's Gin, including juniper, Lebanese mint, coriander, angelica root, Spanish lemon and orange peels, cassia bark and orris root. It has been bottled at a very specific 43.4% ABV, as the distillers believe this to be the perfect strength for their expression - not excessively punchy, but with enough power behind it for balance and flavour. Launched in 2005, No. 209 Gin is one of the dozen or so gins that emerged in recent years from the re-invigorated craft distilling culture underway globally. With its citrussy and spicy flavour profile, No. 209 Gin is what we’ve come to call a “contemporary classic” here at Gin Foundry. No doubt, the flavour profile leans more towards American pallets with a slightly subdued juniper presence and more prominent citrus notes. However, the core gin backbone is still there. It hasn’t shied away from the category’s heritage and the team has managed to create a modern, contemporary gin, which would appeal to many. The best gin we've tasted in a very long time, this quintuple-distilled gin has perhaps the best flavour we've ever encountered for a Gin Martini.
